Recovering from Teracloud® Streams domain and instance failures

If your domain or instance is not functioning well because of failed hardware or software components, Teracloud® Streams can automatically fail over to standby management services to provide high availability.You can also change the resources that are allocated to a domain or instance and restart the domain and instance services and processing elements.

About this task

If you configure high availability for the management services in your domain and instance, Teracloud® Streams can switch to using standby services when software, hardware, or network interruptions occur. For more information, see Configuring high availability in a Teracloud® Streams enterprise domain.

When domain or instance failures occur, verify the status of the resources, services, and processing elements. If you are not certain where the failure is occurring, start by checking the status of the management resources and services.
