Updating domain properties
After you create a Teracloud® Streams domain, you can configure it by updating its properties.
Before you begin
Teracloud® Streams uses access control lists (ACLs) to manage security for domains. To change or delete domain property settings, you must have read and write authority for the config domain object. For more information about these authority settings, see User authorization for Teracloud® Streams.
About this task
You can use domain properties to configure settings such as the total number of each domain management service, application network settings, and details about the repository that is used to store application checkpoint information.
If a domain property can be updated dynamically, you do not have to restart the domain for the change to take effect. To see descriptions of each property and to determine which properties can be updated dynamically, run the streamtool man domainproperties command.
You can update domain properties by using the streamtool setdomainproperty and streamtool rmdomainproperty commands. To view the properties, use the streamtool getdomainproperty command.
