Client certificate is expired

Teracloud® Streams issues error messages similar to the following example:
CDISC5400E Unexpected error while performing certificate authentication. Cause: CDISA5089E An unexpected error occurred. The error message is 'Authentication failed: The certificate expired at Wed Sep 30 09:09:20 CDT 2015'.
The client certificate is expired and cannot be used to authenticate.
Update the STREAMS_X509CERT environment variable and include the name of a valid certificate, for example:
export STREAMS_X509CERT=/streamscertificates/client_certificate.pem

You can request that the certificate authority (CA) sign the expired certificate again. In this case, the CA will send you a new certificate.
