First steps

Preparing to customize your application
When creating an ITE application with a wizard, the resulting application contains sample code for initial testing which can be disabled.
Configuring the control directory
When using the ITE application together with a Lookup Manager, you need to define a directory that all applications use to store the synchronization files.
Reading from a single input directory
When you must read your input data from a directory other than the default directory, you assign the application another directory path.
Reading from input directories
When you must read your input data from more than one directory, you configure these directories into your application.
Configuring output directories
If you must output your data to directories different from the defined default directories, you assign the application the wanted directory paths.
Passing parameters at job submission
Several parameters allow changing their value preset in the application's configuration file.
