The Teracloud® Streams messages describe the errors and solutions, warnings of potentially problematic conditions, and helpful information that you can use to troubleshoot the problems that can occur when you work with the product. These messages are displayed in the user interfaces and log files.

      The IP address does not resolve to the correct host name. The hostname host name resolved to the IP_address IP address, but the DNS lookup resolves to the following host name: DNS_hostname.

      The hostname host name resolved to the IP_address IP address, but the DNS lookup failed.

      An unexpected exception was detected while performing name resolution checking. The exception error message is: error_message

      You may be running a firewall which may prevent communication between the cluster hosts.

      During the product installation, embedded ZooKeeper was upgraded in the following directory: installation_directory. This directory is located in a shared file system, and the installation program cannot detect if embedded ZooKeeper is in use.

      The hostname host name did not resolve to an IP address using DNS lookup.

      The installed version installed_version of the software dependency exceeds the maximum_version maximum version that is supported by the product.

      IBM Java java_version is not installed.

      The system name resolver does not recognize the hostname host name.

      The hostname host name is not valid or resolves to a loopback address.
    - CDISI5006E
      No network interfaces were detected on the host.
    - CDISI5007E
      The software_dependency software dependency does not meet the required version of required_version.
    - CDISI5008E
      The parameter is not valid. Use help_parameter to see the valid parameters.
    - CDISI5009E
      The install_package_information installation image is not supported by your target_operating_system operating system.
    - CDISI5010E
      The software_dependency_name software dependency is not installed. A minimum version of minimum_version is required.
    - CDISI5011E
      The version of the software_dependency software dependency is below the minimum required version of minimum_version. The maximum version that is supported is maximum_version.
    - CDISI5012E
      An IP address, which is required for name resolution, could not be detected for the host.
    - CDISI5013E
      The host resolved the hostname hostname to the IP_address IP address, which is not associated with the local network interfaces.
    - CDISI5014E
      The version of the software_dependency software dependency exceeds the maximum supported version of maximum_version. The minimum required version is minimum_version.
    - CDISI5015E
      The argument is not valid because verbose_parameter must be followed by valid level of the verbose parameter.
    - CDISI5016E
      The install_package_architecture architecture of the installation image does not match the target_operating_system_architecture architecture of your system.
    - CDISI5017E
      The version of the software_dependency software dependency is below the minimum required version of minimum_version.
    - CDISI5018E
      Your target_system operating system is not supported by this installation image. This image supports the build_target operating system.
    - CDISI5019E
      You cannot install the prior version of product_name product_version over existing_product_name existing_product_version in the existing_installation_directory directory.
    - CDISI5020E
      An error occurred when the software dependencies were checked.
    - CDISI5022E
      The global configuration was not set up.
    - CDISI5023E
      The owner of the file must be specified.
    - CDISI5025E
      The path to the installation directory must be an absolute path. A relative path is specified.

      You cannot install Streams version previous_version, which is a prior version, over the later version newer_version.
    - CDISI5028E
      The installation was cancelled because software dependencies are missing. The response file specifies that the installation be cancelled.

      The silent installation stopped because you are not the root user or the LICENSE_ACCEPTED property in the response file is set to "false."

      An error occurred when the command command was run.
    - CDISI5031E
      An error occurred when the installation software was extracted.

      The product cannot be upgraded. The user must be the installation owner or the root user.

You cannot install Streams version previous_version, which is a prior version, over the later version newer_version.

A prior version of the product cannot be installed over a later version.

Install the prior version in a different installation directory. Alternatively, you can uninstall the existing version, and try to install the prior version again.
