The Teracloud® Streams messages describe the errors and solutions, warnings of potentially problematic conditions, and helpful information that you can use to troubleshoot the problems that can occur when you work with the product. These messages are displayed in the user interfaces and log files.

The hostname host name resolved to the IP_address IP address, but the DNS lookup failed.

The host name resolved to the IP address correctly. However, the DNS lookup failed.

If you are running the product on a standalone host and do not intend to use this host in a multiple-host environment, you can ignore this message. If you are not using DNS, you can ignore this message. If you are running the product in a multiple-host environment, the host file or DNS may not be configured correctly. Before you use this host in the product, correct the name resolution issue.
